Textiles-Identification Method for Dope-Dyed and After-Dyed Aramid

Abstract

This document describes the identification of dyeing methods for aramid fabrics using physical or chemical methods. 

This document applies to pure spun and blended fabrics made from dope-dyed or after-dyed aramid textiles, in which the aramid fibre content is not less than 90%. It does not apply to fabric that contains a blend of dope-dyed and after dyed aramid fibres.
