Slow Manifold Model and Simulation of the Lü system

Abstract

Based on geometric singular perturbation theory, we discuss the existence of slow manifold model of some chaotic systems such as the L(cid:252)\u2019s system, the Lorenz system, the Chen system and the Chua\u2019s system. Equations \u00a0of \u00a0the \u00a0first \u00a0order \u00a0approximate \u00a0slow \u00a0manifold \u00a0are \u00a0given \u00a0by \u00a0using \u00a0standard \u00a0geometric \u00a0singular perturbation method. Some numerical simulation results are also presented.
