has successfully held at Hong Kong Baptist University on 4-8 May 2018. It is reported that there are many Phd students from Mainland China participating the conference.
To nurture the new generation of researchers in the field of applied linear algebra and to strengthen the collaboration between Hong Kong Baptist University and the universities in Mainland China, Applied Linear Algebra Half-Year Forum (January-July 2019) will be organized by the Department of Mathematics, Hong Kong Baptist University.

In the forum, workshops, lectures, frontier research discussion, and oral and writing (presentations) will be organized so that participants can study key research problems and collaborate with the researchers at the department. The Forum participants (limited to six) will be supported by the Department of Mathematics, Hong Kong Baptist University.

Now we invite the current Phd students in the field of applied linear algebra (e.g., linear systems, preconditioning, eigenvalues problems, tensors, applied linear algebra applications, and other related topics) joining the forum.
