“The Third International Workshop on Computational Inverse Problems and Applications”, organized by East China Institute of Technology (东华理工大学) and Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences，State Key Laboratory Breeding Base of Nuclear Resources and Environment, Fundamental Science on Radioactive Geology and Exploration Technology Laboratory, will be held on July 8-12, 2013 in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, P. R. China. The background of this series of conferences can be casted back to 2008. The first conference (July 21-26, 2008) and the second conference (July 11-15, 2010) were held in Beijing.

This conference will cover issues on Numerical Algorithms for Large Scale Ill-posed Problems, Geophysical Inverse Problems, Regularization Methods for Inverse Problems, High-performance Optimizations and Applications in Related Fields. It is committed to creating a stage for exchanging the advanced research methods and sharing the latest research results. This conference will comprise plenary talks and contributed talks. On behalf of the organizing committee, we are writing to invite you to take part in this conference. The registration fee is USD150 dollars (RMB800 Yuan) for a regular participant, while the registration fee is USD100 dollars (RMB500 Yuan) for a student participant. You are required to pay the accommodations by yourself.
