Abstract

The School of Mathematical Science at the Eastern Institute of Technology, Ningbo (EIT) invites applications for multiple tenure-track or tenured faculty positions at all ranks (assistant, associate, full and chair professors). 

We are seeking outstanding global candidates (of all races) with demonstrated potential for excellence in research and teaching. All areas of mathematical science will be considered, but preference will be given to computational and applied mathematics, data science and statistics, analysis, geometry and algebra. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in mathematics or related field, a demonstrated record of research achievement with publications in top journals, and in the case of senior appointment, a demonstrated record of external funding. Candidates must have a good command of English and a commitment to teaching and student mentoring.

EIT provides globally competitive salaries and generous start-up fund, commensurate with qualifications and experiences. Stable funding is also provided to support hiring of graduate students and postdocs.
