Editorial Process

Editorial Process

At Global Science Press (GSP), we are dedicated to upholding the highest standards of scholarly publishing through a rigorous and transparent editorial process. Our procedure is designed to ensure the quality, integrity, and impact of the research we publish across disciplines, including mathematics, chemistry, physics, and computational sciences.

Stages of the Editorial Process:

  1. Manuscript Submission: Authors are invited to submit their manuscripts through our online submission system. Manuscripts should be submitted in a standard format and must comply with our submission guidelines, which include ethical standards and formatting requirements.

  2. Initial Screening: Upon submission, each manuscript undergoes an initial screening by the editorial office. During this stage, manuscripts are evaluated for adherence to the journal’s scope, originality, formatting, and ethical standards. Submissions that do not meet these criteria are returned to the authors for revision.

  3. Peer Review: Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are forwarded for peer review. GSP employs a peer review process, which may be either single-blind or double-blind, depending on the journal's specific requirements. This process ensures that the evaluation is impartial and focuses solely on the quality of the research. Reviewers assess the manuscript’s significance, originality, methodology, and clarity.

  4. Reviewer Feedback: Once the reviewers have provided their feedback, the handling editor compiles the comments and recommendations. Authors may receive one of the following decisions: acceptance, minor revisions, major revisions, or rejection. Authors are provided with detailed feedback to enhance their manuscripts when revisions are required.

  5. Revisions: Authors are required to address all comments provided by the reviewers. Revised manuscripts must be resubmitted through the submission system, where they are re-evaluated by the handling editor and, if necessary, by the original reviewers. Authors must also provide a detailed response to each comment to facilitate the review of the revised submission.

  6. Editorial Decision: Once the revisions have been completed, the handling editor makes a final decision on the manuscript, which may involve consulting with the journal’s Editor-in-Chief. Manuscripts that meet all standards and adequately address the reviewers’ comments are accepted for publication.

  7. Production: After acceptance, the manuscript enters the production phase, during which it is copyedited, typeset, and formatted according to the journal’s standards. Authors are provided with proofs of their articles and are asked to review them for any typographical or formatting errors before final publication.

  8. Publication: Once the proofs are approved by the authors, the article is published online. GSP journals offer both print and digital publication options. Articles are made available on our journal platform and indexed in major databases such as Web of Science, Scopus, and Google Scholar, ensuring broad visibility.

  9. Post-Publication: GSP is committed to ensuring the ongoing visibility and impact of published research. All published articles are promoted through our marketing channels, including social media, newsletters, and academic conferences. Authors are encouraged to share their work to maximize its reach and impact.

Our editorial process is designed to ensure that every manuscript we publish meets the highest standards of quality and rigor. By collaborating with our esteemed reviewers and editorial teams, GSP strives to contribute meaningful research that advances scientific discovery and knowledge.
