Abstract
Guideline
The JCM Best Paper Prize will be established by the Journal of Computational Mathematics (JCM) in 2008. The prize is awarded to the author(s) of the most outstanding paper, as determined by the prize committee, published in JCM in the two calendar years before the year of the award.
Prize Committee
The prize committee will consist of five members nominated by the editor-in-chief and managing editors. The prize committee will solicit nominations for the prize from editors of JCM and from other members of the scientific community. Members of the prize committee are not eligible for an award.
Prize Award Date
The prizes are awarded every other year.
Description of the Award
The amount of the award will be $1000 to the authors of each winning paper, and additional funds may be available as a contribution to expenses in coming to the award presentation (usually takes place at an international conference).
